A practitioner with a passion for people and purpose, Amber continues her commitment in providing customized quality care with every touch. Describing massage as “a Divine therapeutic artwork”, Amber’s heart beats for a deeper understanding of the benefits of massage for all but especially for women. In 2009, she successfully graduated from (formerly known as) American Career Institute in Wheaton, MD. Licensed by the State of Maryland, Amber is Nationally Board Certified, and a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). Although trained in a variety of Eastern and Western modalities, Amber’s specialized practice is the marriage between her professional development (through continued education) and her personal experience. With a strong knowledge and conviction of the benefits of massage, Amber also personally relates as a woman (and mother) to the following areas:

Swedish Massage (60 Min - $105 / 90 Min - $140) is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Lymphatic Drainage (60 Min - $105 / 90 Min - $140) aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort, and strengthened resistance to illness.

Deep Tissue Massage (60 Min - $105 / 90 Min - $140) is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable.

Hot Stone Massage (90 Min - $165) is a style of massage where heated stones and are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and hot oil is used while massaging to promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Fertility Massage (60-75 Min -$145 / 90-120 Min - $185) is a holistic approach with the intent to assist in optimal reproductive wellness for women preparing to conceive, actively trying to conceive, currently using assisted reproductive technology - either supplementations, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) or Invitro Fertilization (IVF). This session is recommended for both mother and father. It is a combination of specific massage techniques that includes fertility- friendly aromatherapy, awareness, cleansing therapies and visualizations. Reproductive Recovery Massage (60-75 Min -$145 / 90-120 Min - $185) is a holistic approach in "tuning up" the reproductive body and setting on path to optimal health as a result of:

  • Loss of life (abortion, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or tubal ligation)
  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS}, Endometriosis, Adhesions
  • Pelvic Congestion
  • Hormonal Imbalance

Pregnancy Massage (60Min -$125/ 90Min - $150) Nurturing the Mother® Pregnancy Massage is ideal for all three trimesters and uses a combination of massage methods to yield the following results:

  • Calming Swedish massage strokes for deep muscle relaxation, tension release and increased circulation
  • Gentle range-of-motion and stretching movements to relieve pressure through neck, shoulders, rib cage, lower back and hips, and to promote greater strength flexibility band balance
  • Deep tissue work in the hip and gluteal area to help alleviate chronic lower back and hip pain
  • Abdominal massage for round ligament pain, to support digestion, increased circulation to the placenta and baby. Increase awareness of the baby. The baby will feel and benefit from the massage.
  • Lymph drainage strokes to reduce pregnancy induced edema
  • Cranial-sacral and polarity therapy for physical/psychological/emotional/spiritual centering

Recommended Sessions & Benefits of Pregnancy Massage - Monthly sessions of 90 min each (1-2 sessions per month) are recommended for the first 38 weeks of pregnancy. At 39 weeks, weekly sessions at 60 min. each are highly recommended up until the day of labor that:

  • Helps relieve nausea
  • Increases circulation
  • Increases flow of nutrients to placenta
  • Aids in postural realignment
  • Gives relief to joint discomfort
  • Relieves minor edema by aiding venous return
  • Opens chest for deeper breath and supports learning deep breathing

Postpartum Massage (60 Min - $110)

  • It supports and enhances the realigning process, with a focus on the pelvis and ribs

  • Releases shoulder, neck, and arm tension from the care and feeding of and infant
  • Helps relieve tension from the birth process

Aromatherapy Addition (Add $15) – uses pure oil extracts such as lavender, chamomile, and peppermint added to your massage oil or cream to calm, revitalize, and rejuvenate your senses and your body.
